We were both out of breath and I stood up and felt dizzy, but relieved. Then I found a house that looked exactly like the one he sent a picture of, so I pulled into the long dirt driveway and got out, excited to finally see the man I’d written to for over a year. So I tried to make a go of it with him. So I stuttered a little and said “Uh…I think I have the wrong house.” And quickly turned and walked away. Oops! Then he stopped behind this Tex-Arkana fireworks stand and got out as I pulled up and stopped my car and got out. My heart sank when I saw him and was wondering what I had gotten myself into. Then when we regained our composure, he zipped up, thanked me and told me he had to get back home to his wife. So I stuttered a little and said “Uh…I think I have the wrong house.” And quickly turned and walked away. My trip was along Highway 40 and it was a beautiful drive.
