“Coach. One day the coach told her he wanted her to drive up to his house to meet in private and she wasn’t sure what was in store for her. “So, you want to marry me?”
“More than anything.”
“Coach Harrison, I want to be with you too more than anything. We got the big game coming up and we want you to get that scholarship.” She was confused. “We only have a few more games to play before the big game against her. You have very little chance of beating her and getting the scholarship.”
Ginger started crying. “We’ve talked about your performance many times, haven’t we?”
“Yes, Coach. She is an old friend of mine from when I played basketball there.”
