“Hey, you,” I said, leaning into my son’s broad chest. She then fished for something in her purse. I wasn’t sure about the girth but I always had trouble wrapping my fingers around it. And the door bounced and opened up a gap. Living in a city all my life, I never believed such places existed. Instead, I mumbled a weak “excuse me” and retreated back to my own room.
