Jefferson drop Amy off. Mom and dad yelled at me most of the day. Amy asked, “Was I too hard on you”. “Give me the phone now or you won’t have a phone to talk on”, mom said. I couldn’t get my mind off Amy all the way home. When she looked at me I guess I gave myself away; I had to have the look on my face I had something on my mind. “I’m going for a ride. “Ok I love you Jim, I’ll be waiting for your call”, Amy said. Upon returning she said, “Jim that was your mother she just called to ask if it were ok for you to stay the night here.
